On 20 June 2009, ARRS in conjunction with the Alabama Wildlife Center @ Oak Mountain State Park held the 1st Annual Alabama Reptile & Amphibian Conservation Expo. It was a tremendous success. The Expo featured over 25 native species of amphibians & reptiles, including a rarely seen Slender Glass lizard, 4 types of venomous snakes found in Alabama, and a unique display of the life cycle of a frog.
We had a great turn out that day. Thanks to the Alabama Wildlife Center and all who attended. Below are some pictures from our event:

In September 2010 we were at Ruffner Mountain Nature Center. The program was entitled Scales Tails and Shells: Reptiles and Amphibians of Alabama. We had a great turn out and everyone one who came saw many of Alabama's native reptiles and amphibians up close.
