President/CEO Co-Founder
Becky Pearce
VP Co-Founder Bookkeeper
Stephen Glasgow is the President and
love for animals all his life. He worked
at the Gulf Breeze Zoo in Gulf Breeze, FL
for many years.
Steve has experience with birds, rodents,
reptiles, and wildlife animals. Seeing
animals suffer got him thinking of
starting a rescue group; reptiles were
often suffering due to poor husbandry and
neglect. After taking in many reptiles in
need of homes, he decided to make it his
life's mission to help reptiles in need.
Becky Pearce is the VP and Co-founder of ARRS. She
works at Riverview Animal Clinic. While growing up,
Becky had a great interest in all types of animals.
She has hands-on experience with many different
kinds of pets. Becky has a love of zoos, and has
visited many across the country. She spends her free
time designing custom cages, painting, drawing, and
doing other forms of artistic expression. Becky and
Steve share responsibility of the animal menagerie in
their rescue efforts.

Dr. Chris Campbell DVM
Organization Veterinarian
Dr. Chris Campbell is the Veterinarian for ARRS.
Growing up with a misconception and ignorant fear
concerning reptiles, primarily snakes. Gradually he
learned to deny what the media taught about these
mysterious creatures and relied on what he learned
from experts in the field. However it was not until
his years at Auburn where his education and
newfound respect for these animals flourished.
He was surrounded by so many great and
knowledgeable men and women who devoted their
lives to the study and conservation of reptiles and
amphibians. Their passion was contagious and Chris
tried to soak up as much knowledge as he could
while helping with various odd jobs in reptile research
and conservation. While he was in vet school he found
that he could use this passion to fill a much needed
and often overlooked niche as a reptile/amphibian
veterinarian.After graduating from Auburn and
moving back to Birmingham he again has found himself
surrounded by a passionate and knowledgeable
group of reptile enthusiasts. " I feel lucky that
throughout my career, i have been able to surround
myself by so many bright and gifted people. I learn
better this way. And when it comes to reptiles and
amphibians there is something to learn every day."
Carolyn is Becky's mother and has seen
all of the animals and reptiles that
Becky had as pets or rescued when she
was growing up. Carolyn is an avid
fisher woman and loves the outdoors.
She is currently serving ARRS as the
fund raising director.
Carolyn has helped out with all of the
ARRS events and always has ideas that
are very beneficial. She has even been
a temporary foster home for a few
wayward reptiles. Carolyn will always
be an asset in the future of ARRS.
